We use COACHING to provide the skills you need to improve communication with others and MEDIATION to resolve disputes.
For Businesses and Non-profits
What we can do for your work environment!
Petty disagreements, hurt feelings, on-going conflict, and incivility destroy morale and demand too much of your time at work. And these behaviors reduce productivity.
Employees exposed to these behaviors will eventually decrease their work effort, their commitment to the organization, take out their frustration on others, and seek other employment. This is a national trend creating a need for intervention.
Family Mediators has created a unique tool for assessing the work environment. Our own survey (administered anonymously), identifies employee needs and helps create a plan to improve their “people skills”. Once staff concerns have been identified, we provide instruction in communication, problem solving and conflict resolution skills to address these concerns, followed by coaching to assure the transition of improved skills into the work environment. Personal issues among employees are addressed through mediation to assure all staff are contributing to the goal of achieving a healthy working environment.

For Families and Relationships
What we can do for your personal relationships!
Family relationships are some of the most rewarding and supportive relationships we can experience, but when they become dysfunctional and hurtful, they can destroy our sense of wellbeing and impair our health.
If you are motivated to improve a relationship, to learn more effective communication and conflict resolution skills, we will provide you with the coaching needed to acquire these skills. If you are dealing with an on-going conflict we can offer mediation to help you resolve the issue. We take pride in providing you with the skills you need to enjoy healthy relationships with others.
